So I self administered an almost fatal dose of EAT SHIT and moved my entire life back to Northern California. Things got pretty hectic but the ashes are settling. It was suicidal tendencies for a week for sure.

In the transition I had 2 guys lose their kicker shafts on their Mullins pedals. One was Jasin Phares so it kind of doesnt count as he has giantism. They were both from the original batch and I'm almost convinced I got screwed on materials.
Regardless, the new batch is made from a larger diameter stock and twice as thick as the first design in the spot that they failed. Anyone having any problems let me know and I will fire out the improved version at no charge. The new axle, we will call it the Phares Mod Axle, will slide right into your existing pedal body.

I know I mentioned product tech updates in an entry a while back but expect new things on here in the next few weeks. Im putting in a FAQ section on the products page with better pics and some new stuff too. The gallerey page will get updates weekly from here on out, and Im putting in a more comprehensive page for special projects and specific shit like sheet metal work, frame stuff, trinkets, streamliner, you get the idea.
Also, I think Im getting rid of the team section. I still love everybody and they will still get what they deserve. But its kind of a waste of space and I'd rather it be a secret who's in the club. I think they'd want that too.
I have a new website guy, Im really excited that things will have a LOGIC and CONSISTENCY to them. Less is more but "NOTHING is NOWHERE."
Thanks guys.

Shirts are done. This design was inspired by the original logo that became everyone's favorite shop rag. They're available on a black shirt with either white or yellow. Your best bet is to get both. I ran them on a lighter shirt, heavy cotton shrinks weird . Shirts come in M, L, or XL. They will cost you $20.00, shipping included, to any place in the US. You can PayPal to: brandon@mullinschaindrive.com

The new product info page will be up shortly as well as new stuff in the gallery. The word gallery is lame. I should have pictures of ceramic vases and oil paintings of naked chubby women.

Stickers and shitty mesh hats are probably coming next. Then some more big expensive stuff. Im excited.

The Mullins tree sets are in. New 35mm super narrow sets, the original 39mm, and new 41mm super narrow tree sets showed up this week. The parts are very nice, available in tumble finish and polished. I think everyone will like them.

I will have all the technical specs and new pics up in the products section by the end of the week. As always, you can place orders via email.

More stuff coming this month. Check back soon.

Ok, pedals are here. I've received lots of mail about them. I will answer everybody asap, maybe some of you can get a jump on them by reading here first. Tree sets are getting done NOW and we should see them before summer if things go as smooth as I hope. 35mm, 39mm, and 41mm super narrow kits on the way.

Shirts, stickers and patches are coming for summer too I think. Finally going to eat shit and finance my humble propaganda machine. Im gonna do a regular size sticker, and a real big one to stick in the window of your 87 Toyota pickup that you haven't changed the oil in since you bought it. I have a 94 myself, its the only stable thing in my life. I love you Toyota, this run of big stickers will be a tribute to you and all the unsung shitboxes with over 200 thousand miles on them.

I have a couple bikes I've been goofing around with that are finally coming around. I wont give too much away until they're worth looking at but theyre skinny. Skinny's the new bare metal. Wait, beards are the new bare metal, skinny's the new bobber? I hope to get it done in time for the new magazine I've been hearing so much about, SKINNY BIKE. It should be nuts.

Ok thats it. Keep checking in on tree set availability. Get your pedals while they last. I don't think they'll be sitting around here too long. Thanks guys.

Where to start... I promise Im not that guy. The one that puts up a website then vanishes off the face of the globe. Better to be in the trenches I think. Cyber space is for online poker fiends. I promise things are running wild under the crust. This website is just a front. Maybe its so I don't feel completely left out when everybody else talks about theirs.

I think everyone is happy with their parts. I've sold out of this batch of trees and pedals. A new batch of pedals is on the way and should be available by the end of the month. But we've all heard that before. Its just how things go these days for whatever reason. Are we the first generation that just gets around to stuff when they're done checking their favorite online auctions? It seems like a key element in failure is depending on other people. But thats the world i live in unfortunately. We're all guilty of it at some point. I'd just really like to invest my time and your business in people that want to create and blow minds more than they want to sleep late. A tall order, we'll see what happens. Probably total disaster. I need to walk the walk.

Tree sets are lined up for summer. Thats a realistic date, Im thinkin like June. This batch will include the original Super Narrow 39mm sets, a new Super Narrow 35mm design, and a small run of Super Narrow trees for 41mm wide glide tubes and sliders. They should be pretty neat. 35mm trees will be made to fit typical HD tapered tubes. There's no pre orders, its first come first serve. Things run smoother for everyone that way.

Also as of the first of the year, I pulled the cost down on everything I think. The trees are neat and I know nobody has ripped them off yet but I still want to try and get the price down for everybody to get a set. I've found an excellent supplier for materials and machine work and he's been a huge breath of fresh air doing this stuff. Because we get them made more efficiently and I can count on them when they are promised, it just seems fair to get them into a price range that doesn't put me in the expensive for no real reason category. Its like selling brand new limited edition Elvis dishes for 500 bucks. Who decides they're 500? Fuck, just eat off of paper plates, pop some bennys and listen to Blue Christmas till you have a seizure. If this stuff is a hit it should be for the right reasons.

I'd love to say I have new T shirts coming or stickers because I love that shit. But I dont yet. I always find something more immediate to spend that couple hundred bucks on. But man its so cool to see a sticker of yours on something far away, especially a place you never plan to visit or cant afford to go. Its like you're kinda making an impression without 12 hours of air traffic paranoia and road trip constipation. And somehow stickers and T shirts still say ESTABLISHED better than any kicker pedal. Weird.Theres that 'Its their world' thing again.

A lot of you guys have been asking about gas tanks and fab work. I really appreciate the offers but things are just too busy. Its easier to say yes and take your money and not show you anything for 8 months but harder to sleep at night. So until things free up, check out Max Schaaf's blog. He and I will do a tank together every now and whenever. Everybody probably already knows his world already. If not go look. My favorite painter and one of my favorite humans. Max has the fire, it cant really be taught. He keeps me constantly scrutinizing myself for flaws Ive spent a lifetime trying to cover up. I pretty much wont do a tank unless I know he's painting it from here on out. Yea I just did my first male to male promotional. Heavy.

Also one of Scandinavia's finest Nicke Svensson has the most utilitarian approach to "Our generations weak attempt to fill the shoes of our chopper forefathers" . The name of his little monster is Rigid Hips. He will take your early S&S L carbs and ease the abuse thats been done to them for the last 30 years. Sanity in an insane world. Maybe. Nicke is what the motorbiker world needs if Im gonna stay interested as long as a lot of these old beards have been. He may not be what the chopper world needs but someday that wont matter, the vermin shall inherit the earth.

Im not in the habit of plugging people. Those two guys just inspire me. So maybe they'll inspire you.

Wow I still have so much useless shit to poor out. I'll segue into the finally. The streamliner is pretty insane. Its a whole other world of craziness thats enuff craziness all by itself. Death for eternity is inspiring so I try and do as much as I can. Probably lead to an earlier ending. Check back if you still believe in me, I finally figured out how to run the site and theres always something new to report. I'd write more but I dont want to come on too clingy. Ok bye.
